Velvet has such a posh and elegant feel that it instantly elevates the glamour of anything paired with it and this New Year’s Eve wedding inspiration shoot is no exception. Inspired by the common black and gold theme used for New Year’s Eve weddings, I worked with an amazing group of vendors to create wedding inspiration that mixes the glamour of black velvet with modern geometric shapes to create a simply stunning wedding.

What is a New Year’s Eve party without a little booze? The New Riff Bourbon Distillery provided the perfect backdrop for a chic wedding with its contemporary space. Dazzling gold decor created just the right amount of sparkle and elegance, while maroon and white florals filled the ceremony and reception with romance. Black velvet elements were incorporated to add the extra touch of sophistication that every New Year’s Eve wedding needs. From the stunning wedding cake to the drop dead gorgeous wedding dresses ( yes I said dresses), this shoot is filled with show-stopping details that you truly must see.
